Rocco Castoro was the Editor-in-Chief of VICE Media, where he gained numerous awards and accolades while peeking behind the curtain of the news and media industry. He resigned at a 2015 journalism ethics conference at the University of Chicago and was given a five-year non-compete unheard of in media. His experiences forced him to develop unorthodox, yet effective reporting methods.

Rob Waldeck pivoted into journalism from law after providing critical research for the New York Times and Wall Street Journal during the first Trump impeachment proceeding. Wanting to reveal more, Rob decided to write The Black Ledger: How Trump Brought Putin’s Disinformation War to America, which was nominated for the 2020 Hillman Prize for Investigative Journalism.
